Bianca is the newest member of the Four Paws team! She has been in the world of veterinary medicine for the past 7 years. Beginning as a high school coop student, Bianca was introduced to small animal medicine, and absolutely fell in love with the profession.

After working in veterinary medicine for the first few years Bianca decided to hit the books and become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Graduating from the Veterinary Technician Program at Sheridan College in 2016, Bianca continued her career in small animal medicine at a very busy small animal clinic.

Her passion for animals started at a very young age, she had many childhood pets of various sizes and species’. Her heart melts while caring for her pets and it is this heartwarming feeling which confirms she has chosen one of the most rewarding careers. Bianca relates to her clients through the bond she has created with her own pets, and takes pride in the ways she can contribute to the bond her clients have with their pets.

Bianca has always had a keen interest in geriatric pets as well as pets suffering from mobility ailments.  With no hesitation, Bianca decided to dedicate the next phase of her career to animal rehabilitation and fitness.  She could not be more excited to join the wonderful world of rehabilitation and become an important part of her patients recovery and overall quality of life.

Bianca has received training in both laser therapy and hydrotherapy and is currently studying to be a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner at the University of Tennessee.

Bianca currently lives with 5 dogs in her family home but personally cares for three large fur babies, Liah, Batman and Kasumi. When she is not in her scrubs, Bianca enjoys hiking with her dogs, taking them to training classes and meeting with friends for doggie play dates.  On some occasions, Bianca will leave her dogs at home to travel or go to kickboxing classes.
