Massage (High Friction/Deep Tissue) helps to relieve distress, anxiety and discomfort. In addition, massage stimulates the release of endorphins and serotonin, prevents fibrosis or scar tissue, increases the flow of blood and promotes lymphatic drainage, as well as pain relief.

Stretching helps promote better flexibility, which in turn improves your pet’s performance in physical activities, and decreases risk of injury, by helping joints to move through their full range of motion – enabling your pet’s muscles to work most effectively. Stretching also increases blood flow to the muscle.

As the body ages, muscles can become tighter, and range of motion in the joints can be minimized. A lack of flexibility can cause movement to become slower and less fluid, making your animal companion more susceptible to muscle strains or other soft tissue injuries. This can put a damper on your pet’s active lifestyle and even hinder day-to-day, normal motions. An increase in flexibility is accompanied by improved balance and coordination.
