Ashley began working towards her profession with animals in 2017 but has always had a passion to care for them from a young age. She would constantly find herself paying special attention to their medical needs. Ashley traveled back home to Peru to care for the overpopulated injured and homeless dogs and cats.

Her career-building experience began in high school where she did a co-op at a veterinary hospital and soon after graduating, she attended Sheridan College where she graduated with a certificate in Animal Care. Her need to help less fortunate dogs and cats grew greater as she worked as a volunteer for 2 months in Cusco, Peru. Ashley was involved in rescuing injured dogs and cats off the streets and bringing them back to health. Ashley continued her care for animals while working at a dog and cat daycare & grooming facility here in Toronto.

Ashley has two fur babies, Candy and Carlo, whom are her world. She and her dogs enjoy going on hikes, walks along lakeshore and bike rides around the neighbourhood. With her lifelong passion of working alongside animals, joining Four Paws is just the opportunity she was looking for to continue to embrace her love of animals.
